Please use this alternate procedure for the
installation of R3, 10 Megohm, brown/black/blue/gold:

1) in steps 8 & 9 the leads can be clipped after soldering

2) in step 10, R3 should be installed at the right of
the LEDs (on top) at the place indicated on the silk screen

The middle picture on the schematic can be ignored.
